Splash Wave Pool

100% beautiful place and lots of fun for kids. Took my 2 year old daughter there for her adventure - family swim time at Splash Wave pool. She loved it and so did my wife and her gramma! We went twice in the past week. They have a good supply of life jackets for kids. The children's pools are nice and warm with many fun plastic things to play with. A little slide for all kids to share as well.

There is a large graduated depth pool that will cycle through active waves and regular swimming. The ~15m slide is quite fun, but requires an adult to supervise their children at the end: go up the platform with them, and then slide down first. There are two interconnected warm, wading pools with a fair amount of room for a larger number of people. The lockers a tad small for a large amount of stuff, and the lock loupe is recessed and partially obstructed--regular size locks will work if the clasp is not too long. The lifeguards are very attentive and careful.

I used to come here and it was fun but nowhere on its website did it say only wave pool on Fridays and Saturdays. BAD BAD BAD advertisement if the title of the pool is called “Ottawa WAVE pool” . Even the slide was closed. This is a lame pool. Either rename it or say ‘occasional’ wave pool. The only pool to swim (we were 5teens) was a kiddie pool where all the babies go to pee. The deep pool was taken up for a synchro class. At the very least, maybe write it on the website?? My family was really excited to go to this so called ‘wave pool’. You really think we drove all the way from Montreal to swim in an indoor pool I could have walked to near my home? Other than that, price is fine and the pool is ok for little ones. I vote to rename this pool to a children’s pool with only two days for the wave. It’s really good for toddlers and babies. But for others no. We drive 3hrs and two arguments later for a freaking “wave pool”. Disappointed and will not recommend unless you have babies under six. Kindest regards.
